GENERAL QUESTIONS
How do I book a session?
Start by filling out the Contact form. Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll respond within 24–48 hours to confirm availability, answer any initial questions, and guide you through the next steps. This includes discussing your vision, session goals, and confirming details like date, location, and desired coverage.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. To officially secure your date, a signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required. This ensures that your session or event is reserved in my calendar. The remaining balance is typically due 1 week before your portrait session
How long will it take to receive my photos?
Turnaround times depend on the type of session. For family and portrait sessions, you can expect your gallery within 2–3 weeks. I personally hand-edit every image to ensure a consistent, beautiful result.
How are images delivered?
All final images are delivered in a secure, private online gallery. From there, you can view, download, share with friends and family, and order professional prints and albums if desired. For wedding clients, galleries remain accessible for 12 months after delivery. For portrait and family sessions, galleries are accessible for at least 6 months.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I’m based in New York City but frequently travel throughout the Tri-State area and beyond. Travel fees may apply for sessions more than 25 miles outside NYC, but I’m always happy to discuss custom travel options.
COUPLES PHOTOGRAPHY
How many images do we receive?
The number of final images depends on the length of your session and the locations we explore. On average, couples receive 40–80 fully edited images. I don’t cap the number of photos delivered — if it’s a great shot, it goes in your gallery.
Do you offer adventure or destination sessions?
Yes! Whether you want a session in your favorite NYC neighborhood, a weekend getaway spot, or even a destination further away, I’m happy to travel. Custom travel fees may apply, but I love creating sessions that reflect your story.
Can we customize our session?
Absolutely. Every couple is unique, and I’m happy to tailor your session around your style and vision. From choosing multiple locations to planning outfit changes.
How long will the session be?
Most couples’ sessions run between 1–2 hours, but I also offer extended sessions if you’d like more time to explore multiple spots or capture a variety of looks.
Do you help with planning?
Yes — I’ll help you choose locations, timing, and even give tips for wardrobe and styling so the session feels natural and fun. My goal is to make sure you can relax, be yourselves, and enjoy the experience together.
FAMILY SESSIONS
Where do family sessions take place?
Family sessions can take place at home, in a favorite park, or at a location that’s meaningful to your family. I’m happy to recommend spots that photograph beautifully and work well for your children’s ages, the time of year, and your family’s overall vibe.
What should we wear?
Once you book, I’ll send over a style and session guide filled with tips on what to wear (and what to avoid). Coordinated colors, comfortable fabrics, and minimal patterns work best. I’m always available to help review outfit choices or create a palette that photographs well.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s totally okay — and totally normal. I have lots of experience working with little ones, and my sessions are designed to be flexible and low-pressure. I’ll guide the flow based on your children’s moods and personalities to keep things relaxed and fun. We’ll capture plenty of magic in the in-between moments.
Can extended family join the session?
Yes! Extended family sessions are a wonderful way to capture generational memories. These can include grandparents, cousins, or multiple households. Please let me know in advance so we can plan extra time and groupings accordingly.
Do you offer maternity or newborn sessions?
Absolutely. Maternity and newborn sessions can be booked separately or bundled together at a preferred rate. These sessions are relaxed and focused on connection, and they can take place in your home or at an outdoor location of your choice.

What kind of portraits do you offer?
I specialize in natural, authentic portraits for individuals, couples, and professionals. This includes lifestyle headshots, personal branding sessions, creative/editorial shoots, couples portraits, and graduation photos. Can I change outfits during the session?
Yes! Most portrait sessions include time for one or two outfit changes, depending on the session length. Changing outfits can help create a more diverse gallery, and I’ll help you plan timing and location flow so it feels seamless.
Do you offer studio sessions?
Yes, I have access to several studio spaces around NYC and can recommend one based on your vision. Studio rentals are available as an add-on and are perfect for a polished, professional look, or when weather or lighting require an indoor option.
Can I use my portraits for work or social media?
Absolutely. All portrait sessions include commercial and personal use rights unless otherwise specified. You’re welcome to use the images for your website, LinkedIn, social media, business cards, or print materials.
Do you retouch images?
Standard editing for light, color, and consistency is included with all sessions. Advanced retouching — such as skin smoothing, object removal, or background cleanup — is available upon request for an additional fee.
